Branch Manager

TowerIQ, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Potter Electric Signal Company is developing the next generation of public-safety wireless communications infrastructure. We engineer, manufacture, and support channel partners as the installation and maintain building code required emergency responder communication systems.

As the Branch Manager for our NYC shop location you will team with functional managers to successfully service our regional customers, responsible for providing qualified technicians as well as the tools they require. Primary responsibilities includes:

• Recruiting and managing qualified technicians.
• Partnering with the Fleet Service Manager to service fleet customers.
• Partnering with the Engineering Manager to service construction customers.
• Warehouse management, including inventory, tool, and vehicle control.

What You Will Do:

• Report directly to TowerIQ General Manager.
• Business Function
  • Track employee utilization and effectiveness, forecast future needs.
  • Propose, maintain, and correct internal processes for efficient implementation of operational requirements.
  • Participate in job interviews, performance reviews, and exit interviews.
• Service Function
  • With Engineering and Fleet Service Manager, dispatch service technicians in support of channel partners.
  • Train in-house service technicians on product deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • As required, meet with customers at customer locations.
• Warehouse Function
  • Place requisitions for more inventory, tools, and office supplies as required.
  • Receive, ship and account for location inventory.
  • Maintain company vehicles.
  • Maintain the facility in a state of good repair.

What You Need:

• Four (4) year business degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability in project leadership, including cross functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability in inventory control.
• Demonstrated technical troubleshooting ability, inclusive of proficiency in google docs/Microsoft office and ERP systems.
• Strong soft skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA 10.
• FCC GROL Certification.
• Ability to speak and write in Spanish.

What is Preferred:

• Prior experience in the fire alarm industry.
• Prior experience in manufacturing.
• Prior experience in customer support.
• Prior experience in the wireless industry.
• OSHA 30.
