Field Technician- Public Safety Devices

TowerIQ, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Potter Electric Signal Company is developing the next generation of public-safety wireless communications infrastructure. We engineer, manufacture, and support channel partners as the installation and maintain building code required emergency responder communication systems.
TowerIQ, Inc. is an innovative company, developing and deploying next generation public-safety devices. We design and manufacture universal, robust, and reliable distributed radio systems for critical building services. Our Dedicated Radio Consoles and TowerlinQ platform enable property owners to provide required emergency responder communications inside their building's while also supporting critical building infrastructure via industry wireless standards.

Our team of Field Technicians provide onsite field support for our customers and service partners, to insure that our products are always ready for their critical mission.

What You Will Do

Utilize corporate support staff to aid in business activities.
Perform maintenance on MTA Bus Public Address System.
Perform maintenance on MTA Bus Vehicular Two-Way Radio System.
Assemble TowerIQ equipment at installation location.
Perform radio equipment calibration and on-site verification.
Perform radio signal propagation testing for life-safety installations.
Represent the TowerIQ brand.

What You Need

Understanding of Electrical Systems, AC/DC, Vehicular Systems.
Ability to account for time and track work performed.
Good communication skills (verbally/written).
Valid Drivers License.
OSHA 30 Certified.
Computer savvy, it is important that you're comfortable with technology and eager to learn new things.
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew with initiative and attention to detail.

What We Prefer

Certified Electronic Technician
Second language skill such as Spanish.
Previous experience with Vehicle Electronic Systems.
