We have an opportunity available on our Human Resources Team for a Generalist/Recruiter.  The HR Generalist, Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruitment as well as participate in other Generalist duties including but not limited to training, employee relations, company events, etc.  This position reports to the HR Director and entails the following duties:

Recruiting Functions

• Initiate, develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, HR personnel and external clients to yield successful recruiting results and to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs.
• Manage complete life-cycle recruitment process including, but not limited to screening candidates, utilizing behavior-based interview techniques, preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, managing relocation process, negotiating, closing, and on-boarding new hires.
• Proactively identify and attract top talent in a timely and cost-effective manner, utilizing multiple sources (internet resources, social media, employee referrals, and other creative methods) to advertise opportunities.
• Create job descriptions and track job postings.
• Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities.

General HR Functions

• Leverages HR policies, programs and practices to create and maintain a positive, high-performing workplace
• Consults with line management and provides HR guidance (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.)
• Manages and resolves employee relations issues; conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and build morale to increase productivity and retention

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have experience in recruiting and employee relations.

• Associate Degree or higher preferred.
• 3-5 years of recruitment experience as a full cycle Recruiter.
• Manufacturing experience desired.
• Human Resources Generalist experience is also preferred.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications and Human Resources Information Management Systems; ADP HRIS experience preferred.

Required Skills

The successful candidate will possess at least 3 years of relevant experience with established skills across the HR function.  

• Detail-oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self directed and able to contribute individually and as a member of a team
• Ability to work effectively as a valuable partner with management teams
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
• Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and HR best practices and comprehensive knowledge of government regulations.
