Marketing Analyst
(Fire & Sprinkler)

Potter Electric Signal Company, the recognized world leader in Fire Sprinkler Monitoring Industry, is looking for a Marketing Analyst with razor-sharp attention to detail, broad knowledge of statistics, mathematics and analytics, and an almost obsessive commitment to thoroughness. Marketing analysts can expect to work with vast amounts of written and numerical information about market trends, volume of sales, customer experience, and competitors' activities. Responsibilities include gathering data, writing detailed reports on findings, identifying new markets, and advising upper management on tactics.

Successful marketing analyst candidates should have at least two years' experience in marketing, excellent mathematics and language skills, and outstanding insight. Ideal candidates will have a proven aptitude for interpreting data.

Marketing Analyst Responsibilities:

• Gathering and analyzing data.
• Reporting to marketing managers and coordinators.
• Monitoring customer bases and identifying new ones.
• Preparing detailed reports on consumer behavior, competitors' activities, outcomes, and sales.
• Designing market surveys.
• Determining future trends.
• Communicating with customers, competitors and suppliers.
• Developing strategies to improve market reach.
• Other duties as assigned

Marketing Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or more than 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• SQL Server experience required and Epicor knowledge is beneficial
• Working knowledge of database management tools and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Focus on continuous process improvement

Physical Requirements

• Hand and arm dexterity
• Ability to speak and hear
• Able to sit and work for more than 8 hours per day
• Ability to occasionally stand and walk
• Must be able to lift or move up to 10 pounds
